2003

A team of ten starts the development of a two-seater ultralight aircraft. The main goal of the development is the using of high tech composite for the frame in place of the conventional welded framework.

2004

February 1st

The establishment of fully Hungarian owned Corvus Aircraft Kft. starts to operate in a 320 m2 facility.

April

Corvus Aircraft receives ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard.

The Corvus Aircraft Kft. presents the first Corvus Corone Mk 1 aircraft on Aero 2005 Friedrichshafen Airshow.

The company starts to use vacuum made Prepeg Nomex technology, instead of the older Wet layup composite method.

August

Our company is qualified by the Civilian Air Authority and the company wins the Part 21 and part 145 qualifications so we are authorized aircraft manufacturers and qualified to repair airplanes.

October

Corvus Corone MK 1 wins the Hungarian Design Award from Ministry of Economics and Transportation.

November

The composite section of Corvus moves to a 1000 m2 facility.

2006

January

The start of the development of the type Corvus Corone Mk 1 with retractable landing gear. The aircraft is completed on 30 July 2007.

February

Corvus Aircraft SA is established in the Republic of South-Africa.

April

The development of UL Corvus Corone MK II begins.

May

Corvus Aircraft is present in the United States of America.

June

The first aircraft arrives to the USA.

The debut of the Corvus aircraft is a big success on the Oshkosh Airshow in the USA.

2007

January

Corvus introduces the type Mk II and MK IV on the Al Ain airshow in the United Arab Emirates.

The Corvus aircraft are exhibited on IDEX 2007 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

April

The Corvus Phantom UL kevlar-carbon hybrid prototype of Corvus Aircraft Kft. is introduced at the largest European general small airplane exhibition in Friedrichshaven.

2008

January

Corvus Aircraft Kft. begins the requiered solidification tests of the Phantom LTF-UL under the attendance of Dipl. ing. Kersten Ebeling, the certification engineer of DULV, the German UL aerial union.

The first LSA equipped with a 115 HP Lycoming 10-235 engine is completed.

The new Corvus Race 540 is ready to rock!

Some other developments of Corvus Aircraft has been introduced at the Aero Expo in Friedrichshaven, as the short wing version of the Phantom.

Developments are going further with the fully certified Corvus and a 4 seater version as well, just as the 2 seater version of the Racer.

 

Developments at Corvus Aircraft never stops: a new VLA aircraft will be ready by the end of the year on the the base of the successful Phantom

The worldwide sales and service network has been refreshed, however we still looking for distributors worldwide.

Plans are ready of a 4 seater composite aircraft and the two seater version of the Racer 540 are already outlined by our engineers.
